to the Haro Haiku on the West side of beautiful San Juan Island
As
you enter the madrona lined driveway to the property from Hannah
Road, you begin to sense the unique serenity of the place. The house
is nestled below the ridge line - with the Olympic mountains, the Strait
of Juan de Fuca beyond, and Haro Straits immediately below. Approaching
the house, you pass by a Japanese-inspired garden with a 62 year old
Bonzied black pine center piece. Calmness. Entering the house you are
immediately aware of the oneness of it to the surrounding environment.
Harmony
The home offers many amenities including
a fully equipped kitchen a dining room, and sunken living room with amazing
200 degree views of the Olympics and the Straits, satellite LCD TV,
DVD, DSL, stereo/CD player, utility room with a washer and dryer.
Haro Haiku has two bedrooms with two full baths (one with a whirlpool),that
will comfortably accommodate six people.
"Hello Stephanie,
I haven't had a chance to write you until now, but i just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your lovely home. It was beyond all our expectations and we couldn't stop talking about how wonderful it was. (both the house and the location) our stay was glorious and much (or most) of that can be attributed to the haro haiku house. Thank you for your contribution to a wonderful weekend!
