Haro Haiku

Eagles fly above

share happiness in nature,

summer is anew.

Haro Haiku - West side of

beautiful San Juan Island

The house is nestled just below the ridge line

with 180 degree views, framed by the

Olympic mountains, the Strait of Juan de

Fuca beyond, and Haro Straits immediately

below. Approaching the house, you pass by

our Japanese-inspired garden with a 62 year

old Bonsai black pine center piece. Calmness

Entering the house you are immediately

aware of the oneness of it to the surrounding

environment. Harmony

Inside Haro Haiku you'll find a contemporary

blend of eastern and western style and decor

with a decidedly Asian attitude.

Haro Haiku has two bedrooms with two

baths, and will comfortably accommodate

four people.

Recent review Serenity and Orcas WOW! The views here are simply amazing, both morning and night. At sunrise we caught sight of Mt. Rainier, during the day there were the Olympics, and at night the moon, stars and lights from Victoria. Oh, and did I mention the Orcas! The host provided plenty of binoculars for us to see the Orcas frolicking in the waves down below while eagles soared overhead. I could have (and did!) sat on the deck all day reading and drinking the local San Juan Vineyards delicious wine (with locally caught Salmon for dinner!). This gorgeous home was the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy the natural beauty of the islands. We cannot wait to visit again soon. This place is our special hideaway and we are so thankful to the hosts for sharing this stunning spot. Other details... the home is beautifully renovated and spotless. The owner provided excellent customer service and replied promptly to all inquires. I will absolutely be recommending this property to our friends!
